We stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The food was lovely. Breakfast was Self-Service with plenty of choice with the cooked items and yoghurt, fruit, cereals, juices and tea and coffee. It is very close by to several pubs which serve food also. The pub up the road has a hand ferry which crosses over to the other side of the river. Also close to activities such as canoeing and stand up paddle boarding. There are several rooms to chill out in or a seated outside area to enjoy the brilliant views. The gardens are beautiful with a hammock and a wooden swing on the weeping willow tree. My Grandson made friends with the little girl who lives there and he had a great time 🙂 The staff were also very helpful.
